Hoewel het moeilijk zal zijn om het eerste elftal van Vitesse te bereiken is het toch nog hoopgevend voor de Arnhemse clubs dat het vier Turkse jeugdspelers heeft in de verschillende jeugdelftallen.

Turkse Nederlanders
Turkse Nederlanders breken maar niet door bij Vitesse, ondanks dat er veel kwaliteit is. Op Onur Kaya na (Belg) kunnen we helaas geen andere namen noemen bij Vitesse die is doorgebroken.
Eray Surul komen we als eerste tegen bij Vitesse Onder 12. Bij Vitesse Onder 19 komen we de bekende Anil Mercan tegen. Na sterspeler Umran Bozbiyik (topscorer A-jeugd Nederland) is er een kleine kans dat Anil Mercan bij Vitesse kan blijven om zich te blijven ontwikkelen. De concurrentie is natuurlijk moordend bij de Arnhemmers.
Behalve Anil Mercan spelen ook Tarik Evre en Ozgur Aktas bij Vitesse Onder 19. Het is daarom wel te verwachten dat een van de spelers gaat doorbreken bij Vitesse en het eerste elftal van de Arnhememers.
