Behalve Theo en Nicky kende Arnhem ook drie andere voetballers die helaas niet zo ver kwamen als Theo Janssen. Of niet zo ver ‘mochten’ komen bij Vitesse. Waarom dat niet het geval was, is nog steeds niet bekend. De ‘Drieling’ (zo kende iedereen de drie broertjes) speelden zelfs samen met Nicky Hofs bij Arnhemse Boys en waren alledrie, volgens de kenners, veel beter dan Nicky Hofs.
Jarenlang speelden de drie broertjes bij elkaar en waren ze niet weg te denken bij grote (futsal)toernooien. In hun gouden jaren waren ze vergelijkbaar als Gullit, Van Basten en Rijkaard. Niemand kon ze verslaan en veel tegenstanders irriteerden zich massaal aan hun manier van spelen. In Klarendal en in St-Marten kent iedereen ‘de Drieling’ en tot op de dag van vandaag worden ze nog steeds gevraagd voor allerlei toernooien.
Het ‘Hommelveldje’ en de ‘Leuke Linde’ waren vaste plekken waar deze jongens dagelijks te zien waren en speelden tegen jongens uit de wijk.
Tegenwoordig spelen de heren bij Elsweide (futsal) en zijn het nog steeds een van de besten in de regio.
