Aysel Erbudak moet 1,7 miljoen terugbetalen
Ex-bestuursvoorzitter Aysel Erbudak van het Amsterdamse Slotervaartziekenhuis gaat in hoger beroep tegen de uitspraak van de rechtbank dat ze ruim 1,7 miljoen euro moet terugbetalen.
De rechter bepaalde eind januari dat ze daartoe verplicht is; volgens de rechtbank gaat het om geld dat zij tijdens haar bestuursvoorzitterschap onrechtmatig aan het ziekenhuis heeft onttrokken.
Erbudak zei maandagavond in het tv-programma Nieuwsuur het geld niet te hebben én ze ontkent dat ze zich het geld persoonlijk heeft toegeëigend. Erbudak werd in maart 2013 wegens conflicten ontslagen, volgens haar om valse redenen. Zij startte een proces tegen het ziekenhuis waarin zij schadevergoeding en achterstallig salaris van 1,9 miljoen euro eiste. Die vordering wees de rechtbank af.
Ze hoopt dat in hoger beroep haar zaak zal kantelen. Erbudak, die momenteel in Turkije woont, zegt dat ze iemand is die juist voor de inhoud is gegaan in haar werk, en niet voor het geld.
