Tweede Kamerlid Selçuk Öztürk wint rechtszaak
De Kantonrechter van Roermond heeft Tweede Kamerlid Selçuk Öztürk (DENK) in het gelijk gesteld en heeft de tegenpartij veroordeeld in de proceskosten en deels de advocaatkosten. De BV van Öztürk zou 2500 euro niet hebben betaald voor een geleverde dienst van een bedrijf uit Eindhoven. De Kantonrechter noemt de verklaring van de eisende partij ongeloofwaardig en onnauwkeurig.
Twee niet betaalde facturen
De zaak draait om een BV van Öztürk die hij in 2012 op afstand heeft gezet. Dat bedrijf heeft in 2008 een bureau uit Eindhoven ingehuurd die twee facturen indiende. Een van de facturen zou niet betaald zijn door Öztürk, omdat deze onterecht zou zijn. Ook de rechter geeft Öztürk nu gelijk.
Samsom (PvdA) woedend op Öztürk
Over de rechtszaak van Öztürk ontstond in 2013 ophef toen bleek dat Öztürk zijn toenmalige fractievoorzitter Diederik Samsom (PvdA) niet op de hoogte had gesteld van de zaak. Het was PowNed die het nieuws toen groots naar buiten bracht.
Kamerlid Öztürk zegt dat hij blij is met de uitspraak en graag “vooruit” wil kijken. Dat doet hij met Kamerlid Tunahan Kuzu in een tweemansfractie. Daarnaast zijn ze druk bezig met de uitbouw van de Politieke beweging DENK.
