De eerste Turkse auto is verkocht voor een bedrag van ruim 1,5 miljoen euro (5 miljoen TL). Dat meldt Fikri Işık, minister van Technologie, Industrie en Wetenschap.

Minister Işık zegt dat een Turkse zakenman uit Gebze persé het allereerste prototype wilde kopen. “Dat kan, maar zal wel duur zijn heb ik tegen hem gezegd. Ik heb het aan hem verkocht voor 5 miljoen TL. Mocht de Turkse president de verkoop bevestigen zal deze zakenman de allereerste Turkse auto krijgen in ruil voor het bouwen van een school in Gebze ter donatie met dit geld”, meldt de Turkse minister.
