Voortaan Plastic, metaal en drankkartons bij elkaar in Arnhem
Met de nieuwe regels mag u veel meer in de plastic-herozak doen dan voorheen. U kunt er nu ook blikjes in doen plus drankkartons. En omdat u hierdoor meer plastic zakken vult, laten we ze vaker ophalen.
Plastic verpakkingen, metalen verpakkingen en drankkartons
We noemen deze gecombineerde afvalstroom PMD: plastic verpakkingen, metalen verpakkingen en drankkartons. Vanaf oktober haalt SITA dit PMD-afval 1 keer in de 2 weken op, tegelijk met het restafval. Wilt u weten wanneer de zakken bij u worden opgehaald? Kijk dan op www.arnhem.nl/afvalwijzer. U mag uw zakken met plastic, blikjes en drankkartons ook gratis afleveren bij de afvalbrengstations.
In de wijken met Omgekeerd Inzamelen kan het PMD-afval in de grijze minicontainer (kliko) worden aangeboden die eerst voor het restafval was. Bewoners van hoogbouw gebruiken in deze wijken de ondergrondse containers voor PMD-afval.
Wat mag wel wat mag niet?
Het is belangrijk dat u even goed kijkt wat er wel en niet in de plastic afvalzak mag. Want alleen als het afval niet vervuild is met andere afvalsoorten, kunnen we het goed recyclen. Op www.arnhem.nl/plastic ziet u wat wel en niet in de plastic zak mag.
U kunt het PMD in de doorzichtige afvalzak doen, die u al langer gebruikt voor uw plastic afval. Deze zak krijgt een nieuwe bedrukking en is ook wat steviger uitgevoerd omdat de materialen samen wat zwaarder zijn dan het plastic alleen. U kunt de zakken gewoon blijven afhalen bij de bekende wijkposten en winkels of gratis online bestellen. Kijk voor de adressen op www.arnhem.nl/plastic .
