Eerste winkels in winkelcentrum Schuytgraaf bekend geworden
Op donderdag 17 december 2015 gaf wethouder Gerrie Elfrink van de gemeente Arnhem, het officiële startsein voor de bouw van wijkwinkelcentrum Schuytgraaf in Arnhem.
Circa 6.000 m2 winkels, horeca en diensten
Het winkelcentrum wordt het centrale ontmoetingspunt in de gelijknamige wijk in Arnhem-Zuid met circa 6.000 m2 winkels, horeca en diensten, 64 sociale huurappartementen boven de winkels en parkeerplaatsen. Mede dankzij de samenwerking met de drie Arnhemse woningcorporaties wordt de bouw van het winkelcentrum nu werkelijkheid. In het voorjaar van 2017 worden de winkels en woningen in gebruik genomen.
70% winkeloppervlakte al verhuurd
Via bronnen bij de gemeente hebben we inmiddels al begrepen dat de volgende bedrijven in het winkelcentrum gaan komen: Het winkelcentrum wordt een mix van ketens en lokale ondernemers. Inmiddels zijn Albert Heijn, Gall & Gall, Etos, Zeeman, Domino’s Pizza, Kwalitaria, Délifrance, alsmede Bakkerij ’t Grofje, Ami Kappers, Strijbosch Thunnissen Makelaars en Bloemist Jan Fleur gecontracteerd. 70% van de totale winkeloppervlakte is hiermee al verhuurd.
Wie de andere winkels zijn, is nog niet helemaal duidelijk. De gemeente heeft hier vooralsnog niets over naar buiten gebracht.
