De 21-jarige aanvaller van VVSB is wereldberoemd geworden na zijn winnende doelpunt tegen FC Denbosch. Hij maakte geen wereldtreffer maar wel een hele belangrijke. Maikey Paramu is in een klap de held geworden van heel Nederland. Wat hij heeft gedaan komt zelfs niet eens voor in een jongensdroom.

De aanvaller van amateurploeg VVSB tikte simpel in na een blunder van de doelman van FC Denbosch en bereikte zo de halve finale in de strijd om de KNVB-beker. Parami zal zelf vanavond de loting trekken voor de twee halve finale wedstrijden.
‘Ik loop stage bij de HEMA’
Na de wedstrijd vertelde Parami al tijdens een interview dat hij niet lang kon feestvieren: ‘Helaas ben ik donderdag niet vrij. Ik ben nog student en moet stage lopen bij de HEMA in Leidschendam. Mijn leraren van het ROC zaten ook op de tribune.’
