Februari: 32 aangiftes van diefstal in Arnhem-Noord
De politie maakte gisteren bekend dat in de maand februari er 32 aangiftes zijn gedaan van diefstal uit woningen. In acht van deze gevallen ging het om een poging tot diefstal.
Buurtbewoners vergeten te waarschuwen
In een verklaring van de politie stond verder aangegeven dat buurtbewoners niet altijd de politie waarschuwen bij verdachte situaties. Zo hoorden bewoners in drie gevallen dat er een baksteen door dubbel glas werd ingegooid en werd de politie niet gebeld toen twee inbrekers van een dak afsprongen. In een geval werden de verdachten op heterdaad betrapt door de politie dankzij oplettende buren en een wijkwhatsappgroep.
Bel altijd 112 tijdens verdachte situaties
Ook in Arnhem-Noord blijven ouderen slachtoffer van babbeltrucs. De politie adviseert daarom ook om ouderen en bejaarden te helpen en te vertellen wanneer ze de deuren wel of niet open moeten doen. Als je getuige bent van een verdachte situatie, schroom dan niet en bel 112! Ze komen altijd!
