Bokstrainer Sait Yanik trots op zilveren medaille van leerling
Hendrik van der Vaart, van boksschool Boxing By Kasap, heeft maandagavond zilver gewonnen tijdens het belangrijkste internationale toernooi van Nederland in Eindhoven.
Trots liet van der Vaart zijn medaille zien toen hij voor een foto poseerde, samen met zijn trainer Sait Yanik. Alle zware trainingen tijdens de vakanties hebben geholpen. Insiders wisten te melden dat Hendrik van der Vaart tijdens de vakantoe drie keer op een dag trainde met zijn trainer. Dit deed hij samen met de andere leerlingen van boksschool Boxing by Kasap.
Van der Vaart moest in de finale tegen een wereldtopper. Ahmad Shtiwi uit Israel won tijdens het EK van 2015 bog brons en was daardoor ook favoriet.
Van der Vaart was blij met zijn zilveren medaille: ‘Heb goed gevochten, helaas verloren. Iedereen bedankt voor alle steun. De zilveren medaille is binnen!
