95km hardgelopen in augustus
De 30-jarige bekende amateurvoetballer is een van de weinige Turkse Arnhemmers die meedoet aan het hardloopevenement, dat jaarlijks wordt gehouden in Arnhem. De Arnhemmer is ook heel serieus bezig met de voorbereidingen. In de maand augustus heeft hij al 95 km hardgelopen als voorbereiding. Hij post ook regelmatig foto’s via socialmedia met zijn route’s die hij heeft afgelegd.

Ozturk liet eerder ook al weten dat hij sponsors gaat vinden om zijn eigen hardloopevenement te sponsoren. Zijn gehele sponsorbedrag gaat hij doneren aan de Turkiyem moskee in Presikhaaf. Ozturk bevestigde dat hij tijdens de Rabo Bridge to Bridge loop wordt gesponsord door Cafetaria Gastronoom, X-Hale, Advocaat Bahadir Arabaci, Rijschool Falcon, Garage Olympia Duiven en kapsalon Kazrizma by Hakan.
