Burgemeester Arnhem gaat ‘wietkweek’ in eigen woning bespreken met lokale driehoek
Gemeenteraadslid Koenders van Groenlinks stelde maandagavond tijdens de raadsvergadering vragen aan burgemeester Kaiser over het toestaan van het wiet kweken in huis voor mensen die het nodig hebben vanwege medicinale redenen.
Kaiser reageerde met veel mitsen en maren, omdat hij niet helemaal op de hoogte zou zijn van de situatie in Tilburg. In Tilburg reageerde burgemeester Noordanus namelijk wel positief op het voorstel om wiet in eigen huis te kweken wanneer mensen kunnen aantonen dat dit op medische gronden noodzakelijk is.
Bespreken in lokale driehoek
Kaiser: ‘Ik wil dit in ieder geval bespreken in de driehoek. En daarbij ook de bevindingen van Tilburg, samen met alle partners van de driehoek en het OM meenemen. Na het overleg zal ik dit terugkoppelen naar de raad.’ Koenders was tevreden met de antwoorden van Kaiser en bedankte hem daarvoor.
Enerzijds begrip, anderzijds..
Kaiser voegde er wel later aan toe dat hij enerzijds begrip toont voor mensen die vanwege medicinale redenen wiet nodig hebben, maar anderzijds is hij beducht omdat dit een deurtje kan worden om wiet te legaliseren, terwijl dar andere afspraken over zijn.
