Misdaadverslaggever en tv-presentator Peter R. de Vries maakte maar weer eens duidelijk waarom hij als een van de weinige bekende Nederlands vecht tegen racisme en discriminatie.
Volgens Peter R. de Vries is racisme aan de orde van de dag in Nederland. ‘Dit wordt in de publieke discussie ook met twee maten gemeten. ” Er is sprake van toenemende ongelijkheid, van vijandigheid tegen mensen die hulp en steun nodig hebben. Daar wijs ik op. Dat is heel normaal, vind ik zelf. Dat is gewoon je burgerplicht”, aldus de bekende misdaadverslaggever.

Peter R. de Vries deed deze uitspraken tijdens de kleurrijke Top 100. Dit is de de ranglijst van 100 Nederlanders die het afgelopen jaar zijn opgevallen op het gebied van diversiteit.
De bekende tv-presentator nam het regelmatig ook op voor Nederlandse moslims tijdens tv-optredens of social media.
