Afgelopen zaterdag was SC Oranje te gast bij SC Veluwezoom dat een zeer sterke seizoen draait. Beide ploegen waren in het afgelopen seizoen kampioen (4A en 4B). Gharafi maakt 1-0 na een minuut
Rachid Harrak Gharafi maakte al na een minuut spelen de 1-0 voor SC Veluwezoom. Vrij kort daarna was het Anthony Vogelaar die de 2-0 intikte voor de thuisploeg. Voor de rust scoorde de Turkse Arnhemmer Rifat Bugdayi ook twee doelpunten waardoor de spelers thee gingen drinken bij een 4-0 voorsprong voor SC Veluwezoom.

Na de rust veranderde er niet veel kwa spel. SC Veluwezoom begon minder attractief te voetballen, waardoor SC Oranje twee doelpunten maakte en de stand op 5-2 stond. Een prachtgoal (lob) van Nabil Nasri zorgde uiteindelijk voor de 6-2.
Emre Zorlu is weer ’the man’
SC Veluwezoom kon eindelijk weer beschikken over verdediger Emre Zorlu (23). De boomlange Turkse verdediger uit Arnhem scheurde twee jaar achter elkaar zijn kruisbanden toen hij nog speelde voor AFC Arnhem. Na een lange revalidatie is hij al weer paar weken goed bezig in de defensie van SC Veluwezoom.
Veluwezoom staat na deze overwinning tweede met 28 punten en heeft twee punten achterstand op AVW’66.
